He graduated from the North American Post Graduate Institute (Fracture Management) in 2003. In 2004, Dr. Brown received his certification for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) for cranial cruciate rupture repair and has performed over 500 of these surgeries. He also performs cutting edge, minimally invasive procedures including Arthroscopy, Canine Platelet Enhancement Therapy (C-PET), Vet-Stem stem cell therapy, and class 4 laser therapy. Client education, pain management, customer satisfaction, and patient outcome have been a huge part of Dr. Brown's orthopedic success in and around the greater Spokane Area.Laser Therapy: We are proud to be able to offer low level laser therapy to our patients. This is a relatively novel approach to pain and inflammation control as well as wound healing support. Low level lasers have been used extensively in human healthcare and have only recently gained traction in the veterinary community. Laser therapy can be a useful tool in the treatment of a number of commonly diagnosed ailments in companion animals. Examples of such diseases are arthritis, sprain/strain, cuts, bruises, back injury, infection. Laser therapy is a great stand-alone alternative for animals that are sensitive to drugs. We offer packages of multiple treatments.
