Dr. Sales is a San Diego native who grew up in Santee. She worked as a veterinary assistant at our hospitals while attending the University of California, San Diego where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience. She then attended veterinary school at St. George’s University and completed her clinical training at Washington State University. After graduation, Dr. Sales returned to San Diego to start her career as a small animal general practitioner. Her special interests include preventive medicine, nutrition, and surgery. Outside the hospital, Dr. Sales spends her time traveling, SCUBA diving, and spending time with her husband, Border Collie and two cats.
