We are a full-service small animal hospital, providing all routine medical services, as well as advanced diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. Our professional staff is made up of four veterinarians, with combined experience of over 70 years, as well as four Licensed Veterinary Technicians with combined experience of over 60 years. We are also supported by a staff of several technician's assistants, kennel assistants, and a Master Certified Pet Groomer. Our reception staff is always helpful, well-informed, and eager to serve.

Fountain City Animal Hospital was established in July of 1979 by Dr. Rai Kaur Khalsa in a small rental property in the heart of Fountain City. In less than ten years, the practice had outgrown that space, and we relocated into our present building, designed from the ground up by Dr. Khalsa. The practice continued to grow so that in 2003 we did a significant remodel and expansion, which included the addition of more space for boarding (both cats and dogs), grooming, surgery, advanced diagnostics (endoscopy and ultrasound), and Drs.' offices. The hospital is presently staffed by an extraordinary group of women who are compassionate, bright, personable, and driven to excellence in all that we do. We treat all animals who cross our paths as though they were our own, and we are all totally in love with and dedicated to our pets. Our clients are important to us too, and we strive to ensure that communications are always clear, timely, polite, and helpful.
