As a non-profit organization, Hudson Valley Dog Sanctuary Inc. (HVDogS) provides 'pet care' services and products to dog owners of age and with special needs. HVDogS further provides a 'sanctuary' or safe-haven for abandoned or neglected dogs, and fostering and placement of rescued dogs. Our target members are dog owners who love their pets immensely but because of their age and health, and or income, they are having difficulty providing services for their dog - i.e., dog walking, sitting, daycare, boarding, grooming, training, basic veterinary services, etc. HVDogS is an organization they can turn to for assistance.
