General Info
Located in San Mateo, Calif., the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA is a nonprofit, animal welfare organization. It provides food and veterinary care for the lost, stray, unwanted and injured domestic and wild animals. The organization offers several programs, such as wildlife rehabilitation, education and advocacy, community outreach, rescue of animals in distress and investigation of animal cruelty. It provides home for dogs and cats, and adoption of dogs, cats and other pet animals. The organization s other services include animal control, hurricane relief, animal behavior programs, microchipping and licensing services. The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA has a wildlife care center that looks after more than 4,000 sick, injured and orphaned wildlife animals.
