                    Business History
About Dr. Sandra Grant: I am a 1994 graduate of the North Carolina State University Veterinary School. I have enjoyed a varied and exciting career and have loved owning Lake Wheeler Veterinary Hospital. We strive to provide up to date care for all of our patients and treat them and their owners like family. Being a smaller facility allows more of personal one on one care. My hope is that allows for a better appreciation for our staff and services and that we build great community relationships. I have special interests in ferrets and coatimundis (South American Raccoon) and am the lead veterinarian for the Logan and Abby Fund for Coatimundi Rescue. I enjoy geriatric patients very much and find pediatric patients a welcome challenge and joy each day. I enjoy a close relationship with local wildlife rehabbers. I work closely with various organizations that help animals and a passionate equestrian. My staff and I are committed to providing excellent care in helping your pet.
